Professional certifications in veterinary medicine are important considerations when choosing a veterinary clinic but friendliness and compassion are important as well.  The staff at Mountain View Veterinary Services recognizes this and will treat you and your pet as members of the family.  They love what they do and it shows. 

Sherri and Swabbie will greet you at the front desk.  Sherri has over twenty-five years experience in veterinary practices throughout South Carolina and beyond.  Sherri is the front line: she schedules appointments, deals with payments and is the office manager.  Swabbie is a very handsome Chihuahua who also welcomes incoming clients.

Katy is their Veterinary Technician and Boarding Services Manager.  She graduated from Tri County Technical College in 1994 with a degree as a Veterinary Technician.  She spends much time caring for the boarding and hospitalized animals, but you will most likely meet her in the examination rooms with Dr. Hutchinson.  She is full of life and loves people and animals.  Whitey, the black cat, lives at the clinic and loves Katy. 

Dr. Emily Hutchinson is their veterinarian; she is a 1991 graduate of the veterinary program at the University of Wisconsin. 

She moved to South Carolina upon graduation and relocated to the Upstate in 1996.  

She loves horses and shows Arabian Horses competitively.
